[New neighborhood glow, Chapinero]

HOY is one month here in Bogotá, where I’ve relocated for the year to work on a Fulbright-mtvU ethnomusicology project. I’ll be researching new opportunities for artistic agency and self-representation for marginalized musicians, enabled by democratized access to digital music production tools and distribution / promotion networks.

I’ll soon be sharing full details of the project & longer-form articles on the program’s blog, and throughout the year I’ll be posting the process documentation aquí. Looking forward to a year full of learning, interviewing, connecting, storytelling, DJing, music production camino’ing, traveling, choriperro consuming.
